Dear Father in heaven, may your name be lifted high. You are our high priest and judge. Thank you for going before us in the presence of God, making a relationship with him possible.
Knowing that you are a judge, may I also be careful to live pleasing to you. I want you to be pleased with the ministries you have me involved in and my behavior towards others. May the way I extol you and live draw others to your kingdom.
Please provide our daily needs that we pause and share with you right now. Heal our bodies and the souls of those we are burdened about today. Give us wisdom and discretion for our life and decisions.
Forgive our sins of complacency and selfishness today, and help us to be forgiving and loving to those who don't love us.
Lead us away from the temptation to forget you and the eternal rewards we might earn by being submissive and obedient to your will.
In the name of Jesus Christ, and for your glory, I pray. Amen
Day 361
Day 362 Our Father in heaven, you've got everything in control even when our trials seem out of control. But you are holy and righteous; you know what you're doing. Praise your name. May you accomplish your will and ways, and come swiftly Lord Jesus.
For our daily bread, give us courage to fight and live on, knowing our adversary would like to defeat us. Provide our other needs because you said you would.Help us to trust you.
Forgive us when we fail to live right. We are justly disciplined by your righteous ways. Forgive us if we fail to trust you. Help us to forgive and let go of others who offend us.
Lead us away from the temptation to abandon the faith or succumb to the devil. Help us be wary of his vices.
May we live to the praise of your glory. In Jesus ' name, Amen
Day 363 Dear Father in heaven, you are righteous and holy and just. In today's lesson, we learned that your final contest with Satan, and he will be cast out of heaven. Praise your name forever. Good riddance to sin and every vice. May your kingdom come and your will be don on earth as it is in heaven.
Please, for our daily bread, help us to endure afflictions and know what is true from you Word, instead of believing the father of all lies.
I pray for forgiveness of our sins and to forgive others who sin against us.
Lead us away from temptation to give up, leave, or hide. Give us the power and skill to withstand the devil and fight if necessary. In Jesus' name, we pray and for God's glory. Amen.
Day 364 Our dearest most loving heavenly Father. You are Holy, holy, holy, and just. You are the one and only God, the God who forgives sins and is patient with us. Hallelujah! Nevertheless, a time of judgment is coming, your kingdom. Let us fear you and tell others about you so they may escape judgment.
You don't desire that any of us should perish but come to repentance. Be merciful all mighty God and save many. Cleanse us from our sins and bring us eternal life and peace. And then in our new lives, may your will be done as we live in obedience to your Word.
For our daily needs we pray, and ask you for the ability to obey you by your Spirit. Help us even do what's hard. Forgive us our sins against our brothers and sisters in Christ and in our families and other relationships. And may we forgive others of their sins, too.
Lead us away from the temptations of the world that draw us away from you and make us proud and independent. Help us love one another from the heart. Help us to support the weak, and build them up with your love.
Help us live in humility and obedience, not pride. Pride is of the devil. Instead, may we live to the praise of your glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Dear Father in heaven, as we look forward to a new year, we rejoice that your Son is coming back to rule and reign. He is the conquering hero and will do all your holy will.
May your kingdom come and your will be done! And may we read your Word the Bible and draw encouragement from it to stay the course to the end. Help us to remember our reward for faithfulness.
Please provide us the bread of endurance during persecution. Help us trust you are the bread of life and can provide all our needs.
Forgive us for our sins of disloyalty, of abandoning our relationship with you, and our lack of constancy in prayer and presence before you, disobedience, and trust. Cleanse us from our sins. Help us to forgive others their sins, too.
We rejoice that someday Satan will be put away for good. But now he is a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Help us prepare for the battle and have faith in you, God. May we overcome him with our testimony, faithfulness to your Word and rebuking his ways. Help us to be gentle and loving to all men who need you. In Jesus' name and for his sake, Amen.
