Day 230
Dear Father in heaven, you are holy and righteous, yet merciful to those who truly repent. You are ready with open arms to receive them. May our testimony of your mercy and grace encourage the willfully unrepentant to turn from their sins so they can be part of your kingdom. May your will be done in their lives and ours; you know what is best--justice or mercy.
For our daily bread, please meet our needs, and give us a heart of compassion. May we let you deal with those who won't repent.
Forgive our sins because they, too, may be many, and only because of your grace have we been saved. May we walk in humility, and help us to forgive others who hurt us.
Lead us away from bitterness or revenge against our enemies (or relatives), and keep the devil from gaining a foothold on our lives. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Day 237 Dear gracious God and holy Father, may we show the same grace to others as you show to us so they will want to be a part of your kingdom. May we do your will from the heart and not forfeit your grace through rebellion, unbelief or disobedience.
For our daily bread, please provide our needs for food, clothing, shelter and companionship. Also, we need someone to hold, cry, and talk to when we are grieving or having a tough time.
Forgive us for living in sin, which often causes us problems, and help us to forgive others who hurt us.
May we beware of the devil's evil schemes and warn others. May we live to the praise of your glory. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
Day 238 Dear FAther, your name and character are holy. You don't deceive or lie. May I live for you who died for me so others might be drawn to your kingdom. And may I not be a hypocrite, saying I will obey you and not do it.
Cleanse my soul. Give me the courage to obey you despite the circumstances. Forgive my lack of faith in you and for going my own way. Please give me a listening heart to encourage others.
Forgive my sins and help me to be forgiving to others. Lead me away from the temptations to fix things. Help me get on track and lead and guide us. For your name and glory I pray in Jesus' name. Amen
